Branta LLC

Branta LLC has retained Energy Capital Solutions to offer interests in the Uinta Basin of Utah and in East Texas.

The Utah package includes approximately 116,000 acres (65,000 net) in the Uinta Basin with its 60% working interest partner Harvest Natural Resources Inc. Harvest and Branta have drilled and completed a well with total depth of 17,566 feet in Duchesne County about seven miles south of Altamont-Bluebell Field to test the Mesaverde, Wasatch and Green River formations. Initial well results demonstrate more than 3,500 feet of tight sands containing producible gas, over-pressure and natural fracturing.

Branta also has a 28% to 40% working interest in a Green River oil-development program as part of their Monument Butte northerly extension, with five wells producing approximately 1,600 barrels of oil per day and 1.8 million cubic feet of gas gross. Three wells are being drilled and completed, with at least 10 additional drilling locations anticipated.

In East Texas, the company has a 37% to 50% operated working interest which targets horizontals in the Cotton Valley formation in Gilmer Field in Upshur County with eight vertical wells, three horizontal wells, and more than 25 additional horizontal drilling locations. Branta also operates in Rusk and Liberty counties. The East Texas package has 6.7 billion cubic feet equivalent of proved developed producing reserves and 21.5 Bcfe of total proved reserves. Net production is 1 MMcfe per day.
