Buffalo Resources Corp.

Buffalo Resources Corp., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: BFR) has retained Cormark Securities Inc. to consider strategic alternatives including a sale or merger. Buffalo is a Canadian junior oil and gas company with operations in the Frog Lake, Pincher Creek, Whitecourt and Peace River Arch regions in Alberta and in southeastern Saskatchewan. Total proved reserves year-end 2008 were 12.9 million barrels of oil equivalent (9.6 million proved producing). Total proved plus probable reserves were 21.5 million barrels (52% gas). Production is 3,050 barrels equivalent per day (1,500 barrels of oil; 9.3 million cubic feet of gas). Buffalo has appointed an M&A committee of independent directors to review the process including Richard A. Shaw and Murray Sinclair as co-chairs, and Michael Winn and Gregory Moore.
