Canary Enters Permian Basin With Acquisition Of American Wellhead

Acquired the Odessa, Texas-based wellhead service company focused on the Permian Basin.

Canary LLC, of Denver, announced Jan. 22 the acquisition of American Wellhead LLC, a wellhead sales and service company for the Permian Basin and New Mexico.

American Wellhead, of Odessa, Texas, includes wellhead sales and installation, frac stack rental and installation, field service and repair on valves and wellhead, field greasing of production and fracking equipment.

The acquisition of American Wellhead is part of Canary's aggressive acquisition strategy. The company has completed more than a dozen acquisitions since 2007.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
