Chalker Energy Partners II LP, Quantum Energy Partners

Chalker Energy Partners II LP, a portfolio company of Quantum Energy Partners, Houston, has retained Griffis & Associates LLC and Simmons & Co. International to sell certain assets in East Texas. The package includes 80 operated and producing wells on approximately 24,000 gross (21,350 net) acres of leasehold in the Cotton Valley trend in Harrison, Panola, Rusk, Marion, Gregg and Smith counties, Texas. Net production is 20.2 million cubic feet equivalent per day. Total proved reserves are 288 billion cubic feet equivalent, with 53 billion proved, developed and producing. This acreage contains 503 drilling locations on 40-acre well spacing. The data room is open. Bids are due in early November, with an effective date of Oct. 1. The closing is to occur in December.
