Compass Petroleum Partnership

Compass Petroleum Partnership has retained Sayer Energy Advisors to sell varying working interests in a large acreage position in southern Alberta. Compass has high working interests in and operates most of the lands and wells largely in the Pendor/Pakowki Lake and Wreston/Wrentham areas between townships 1 and 7, range 5 and 16 W4. Current net gas production is approximately 150,000 cubic feet per day (25 barrels of oil equivalent per day). In addition, Compass is including its royalty interest in one section of land that it farmed out and from which it is receiving royalty revenue from two shallow gas wells. Upside includes an undeveloped land base of more than 26,000 gross acres (18,000 net). The data room is open. The bid due date is Oct. 23. Closing is expected by end of November.
