Compton Petroleum Corp. has retained Tristone Capital Inc. to sell assets in Alberta. The package includes operated and nonoperated production in the Cecil area. March 2008 estimated production is 2,025 barrels of oil equivalent per day (67% oil). The reserves-to-production index is 13.4 years proved plus probable. Charlie Lake oil pools total more than 350 million gross barrels of original oil in place with current recovery factors of 5%. The data room is open. The bid due date is May 27.
