Acquired 75%WI in Crawar Field.

Through subsidiary Energy Producers Inc., EGPI Firecreek Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., (OTCBB: EFIR) has closed a $2.5 million acquisition of assets in Ward County, Texas from an undisclosed seller.

EGPI now owns a 75% working interest and 56.25% net revenue interest in the north and south 40 acres of the J.B. Tubb leasehold estate (Crawar Field) and all related assets, including equipment.

The company says the acquisition will be the foundation for the restructuring of its oil and gas operations and will provide assets for new programs. EGPI says it plans to secure additional rights within the field.

EGPI chairman and chief executive Dennis Alexander says, "We are very familiar with this property and are very excited with its revenue potential. Because of our ability to secure this interest and its revenue stream, we are confident that it will assist our future growth. We will continue to aggressively pursue producing domestic oil and gas properties, as well as, alternative energy sources as indicated by our recent acquisition of Arctic Solar Engineering LLC."
