El Paso Oil & Gas Canada Inc. has retained Tristone Capital Inc. to seek proposals for the corporate sale of the company. Current production is approximately 9,250 barrels of oil equivalent per day, (6:1) consisting of 50 million cubic feet per day of gas and 900 barrels per day of oil and natural gas liquids. El Paso's major properties are concentrated in the Bubbles and Ojay/Sundown areas of British Columbia and the Waterton and Copton areas of Alberta. Assets owned by El Paso on the East Coast of Canada will not be included in this corporate sale. El Paso's interests in Alliance pipeline capacity and the Caribou Gas Plant will be offered in separate bidding packages.
