NEW, Empire Resources Inc. has retained Kobayashi Partners Ltd. to sell the company. Empire's core operating area is Silverdale in west-central Saskatchewan, adjacent to the Alberta border, with two minor properties in the Lloydminster and Wildmere areas. Empire has an average 95% working interest in Silverdale and operates 100% of production, approximately 702 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Empire owns and operates two central batteries to service various Silverdale production entities that bring total production to 766 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Total proved reserves are 1.6 million stock tank barrels and 1.1 million cubic feet of gas and probable reserves are 703,000 stock tank barrels and 393 million cubic feet of gas for proved-plus-probable reserves of 2.5 million barrels of oil equivalent.
