Eni Petroleum

Eni Petroleum is seeking a farm-out partner to participate in its Crown and Anchor prospect in the Gulf of Mexico.

The prospect is within Viosca Knoll blocks 959, 960 and 1004 in 4,500 feet of water. Eni is operator with 50% working interest, and Murphy Exploration and Production Co. holds the other 50%. The target zones are Middle Miocene including Big Hum, Tex L, Tex W and Cris I. Anticipated spud date is mid-2011. Newly producing wells in the immediate area have yielded as much as 5 million barrels of oil in under two years.
