Explortex Energy Inc., Katy, Texas, (Pink Sheets: EXPX) has acquired the hydrocarbon rights to 4,700 acres and more than 41 well bores in Louisiana from Montebello, N.Y.-based Blackriver Petroleum LLC and Toronto-based Ameroil Corp. for $2.45 million in cash and stock. The assets are referred to as Greenwood Waskom Field, which is in Caddo Parish.
