Heartland Oil and Gas Corp., Denver, (OTCBB: HOGC) has retained Energy Capital Solutions LP to seek strategic alternatives for the company. Heartland's assets include coalbedmethane properties in northeastern Kansas, including the 224,860-gross-acre Soldier Creek property and the 631,317-gross-acre Evergreen north block in Forest City Basin. The company also owns the 113,380-gross-acre Evergreen southern block, consisting of 24 wells in Bourbon arch. Proved reserves are approximately 1 billion cubic feet of gas.
