Holloman Energy Corp., Houston, (OTCBB: HENC) has retained Macquarie Tristone to search for joint venture partner on its South Australian Cooper Basin leases. Holloman's Cooper Basin leases include interests in PEL 112 and PEL 444 that comprise 4,544 square kilometers (1.125 million acres) in the southwestern and northwestern sectors of the Cooper-Eromanga Basin. "The continuing drilling successes on adjacent tenements have resulted in our decision to accelerate our exploration plans. We believe this will be best achieved with the addition of a venture partner," stated Mark Stevenson, Holloman chief executive.
