Intrepid Energy, London, which owns almost 30% of the North Sea's Buzzard oil field, was put up for sale Dec. 1 for $1- to $1.5 billion, according to the Financial Times. Intrepid owns Buzzard with EnCana, (Toronto: EAC); 43%, BG Group, (London: BG) 22%; and Edinburgh Oil & Gas, (London: EDG) 5%.
