LA-TEX Goose Creek Ltd.
LA-TEX Goose Creek Ltd., a partnership of LA-TEX Operating Co. and Gaither Petroleum Corp., has retained Burks Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell interests in Goose Creek Field in southeastern Texas.
The package includes 100% working interest (80% net revenue interest) in 588 acres in Harris County near Baytown. The assets include 32 producing wells, four saltwater-disposal wells and 19 inactive wells.
Net production is 240 barrels of oil per day producing from the Frio, Miocene and Pliocene formations. Total net proved reserves are 2.1 million barrels of oil (1 MMBO proved developed producing).
Upside includes numerous behind pipe zones, four identified proved undeveloped locations, and Deep Vicksburg exploratory potential of more than 100 billion cubic feet.
