Mediterranean Oil & Gas Plchas retained Stellar Energy Advisors to seek a partner to develop the Tarxien prospect in Area 4 offshore Malta.

The Tarxien prospect is a dip-closed structure based on 3-D seismic with potential resources in excess of 200 million barrels. It covers an area of 5,715 square kilometers and is adjacent to prospective acreage in Libya. The acreage contains a number of mature prospects which are analogous to the proven plays in the nearby Sirte Basin as well as proven field analogues in Tunisia. MOG is operator with a 90% interest.
