Natural Resource Partners Gains 19,200 Oklahoma Acres

Purchased total 19,200 net mineral acres in OK Mississippian lime oil play.

Natural Resource Partners LP, Houston, (NYSE: NRP) has now acquired a total of approximately 19,200 net mineral acres in the Mississippian lime oil play in north-central Oklahoma for approximately $64 million.

These holdings, acquired in a series of separate acquisitions over a period from December 2011 to date, are currently leased to several oil and gas operating companies that are actively developing the acreage with horizontal drilling.
