New Frontier Energy Inc., Denver, (OTCBB: NFEI) plans to explore strategic alternatives including a sale or merger or a sale of all or a substantial part of its assets.

The company holds interests in five oil and gas prospects in Colorado and Wyoming, three of which are undeveloped.

New Frontier Energy owns a 67% operated working interest in 35,480 net acres in Slater Dome Field in Moffat County, Colorado, and Carbon County, Wyoming, with 19 wells. The Focus Ranch unit consists of approximately 36,891 gross acres (30,500 net) adjacent to and southeast of the Slater Dome Field in northwestern Colorado with one well.

Additional prospects include 100% working interest each in the Flattops prospect involving 3,276 net acres, North Slater Dome Field with 1,600 net acres, and the Weitzel prospect (formerly Amber Waves) in the Denver-Julesburg Basin with 12,400 net acres.
