Newfield Exploration Co.

Newfield Exploration Co. has retained The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse to sell certain producing and operated assets and undeveloped acreage in Maverick County, Texas, in a negotiated transaction.

The package includes 50% working interest (37% net revenue interest) in 18,803 gross acres in the Briscoe-Saner lease in Chittim Field (Georgetown). The assets include 17 operated wells. Average cash flow is $25,000 per month.

The assets are being marketed for the first acceptable offer to be accepted with a pre-empt bid encouraged.
