Nexen Petroleum U.K. Ltd.

Nexen Petroleum U.K. Ltd.has retained Stellar Energy Advisorsto sell its 42.08% operated interest in Perth Field and nearby acreage in the U.K. North Sea.

Perth Field is approximately 185 kilometers northeast of Aberdeen in a water depth of 127 meters (450 feet). Total STOIIP is more than 300 million barrels and P50 recoverable reserves for an initial core area development in excess of 30 million barrels.

Significant upside exists for additional recovery through a second phase of development.
