Norse Energy Corp.
Norse Energy Corp. has retained Albrecht & Associates Inc. to sell its interest in 97,000 net acres in the Susquehanna River Basin in central New York and a separate prospective package of 33,000 net acres in southwestern New York.
In central New York, Norse Energy has 100% working interest in 89,000 prospective net acres in Broome, Chenango and Madison counties. In addition, it holds another 37.5% working interest in a separate prospective 8,625 net acres. The properties are offered with an 81.25% net revenue interest.
In Cattaraugus and Allegany counties, Norse is selling its 100% working interest in about 333,000 net acres prospective for the Marcellus and Utica shales. This acreage is also offered with an 81.25% net revenue interest.
Norse also has 150 miles of pipeline right of way in addition to the rights granted under its leases. It is also selling 500 miles of proprietary two-dimensional and 70 square miles of proprietary three-dimensional seismic data.
