Panther Energy Co. has retained Evercore Partners to sell assets in the Mississippian oil resource play in northern Oklahoma.

The package includes 47,000 net acres in Grant, Alfafa and Garfield counties. The properties feature eight horizontal wells targeting the Lower Mississippian Osage chert and the Upper Miss lime and chat. Net revenue interest on production averages 80%.

Gross production is 850 barrels of oil per day and 9 million cubic feet of gas per day. Net resources potential is 83 million barrels of oil equivalent (31 million barrels of oil). Upside includes more than 700 drilling locations.
