Peloton Exploration Corp. has retained Sayer Energy Advisors to sell certain interests in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The package includes working interests in three producing properties, one nonproducing property prospective for oil and one nonproducing property prospective for gas. The producing properties are in the Swalwell, Whitecourt/Windfall and Neerlandia/Thunder areas of Alberta. At Stalwell, Peloton holds a 50% working interest in and operates one liquids-rich Wabamun gas well. At Whitecourt/Windfall, it holds working interests between 65% and 100% and operates two Notikwein gas wells. At Neerlandia/Thunder, Peloton holds varying working interests in eight sections on which it has drilled one Ellerslie gas well (16.67% working interest). The non-producing properties are at Weyburn, Saskatchewan, and at Chinchaga, Alberta. At Weyburn, Peloton holds 100% working interest in 9.5 sections prospective for Bakken oil. At Chinchaga, it holds 50% operated working interest in 12 sections of undeveloped land and 100% interest in a 13th section. In addition, the company is selling 100% interest in 9.5 sections of undeveloped land in the Weyburn area of Saskatchewan prospective for Bakken oil production. Total net production is 118 barrels of oil equivalent per day (646,000 cubic feet of gas, 11 barrels of gas liquids). Total proved plus probable reserves is estimated to be approximately 157,000 barrels of oil equivalent (900 million cubic feet of gas, 15,000 barrels of gas liquids). The bid due date is Dec. 10.
