Penn West Energy Trust

NEW, Penn West Energy Trust has retained Scotia Waterous Inc. to sell certain noncore assets in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories and Wyoming. Six packages include high working interest, operated production, multi-zone potential and related infrastructure. Total land involves 466,570 hectares (308,671 net). Production is 12,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (68% gas). Proved reserves are 24.3 million barrels equivalent (37.2 million proved plus probable).
