Perpetual Energy Inc. has retained Sayer Energy Advisors to sell certain interests in the Viking-Kinsella area of Alberta.

The package includes 50% working interest in one section of producing land and a 100% working interest in one section of prospective undeveloped land offsetting the producing property. The property is producing from the Viking-Kinsella Sparky “G” pool which is offset by two large Sparky oil pools, the Viking-Kinsella Sparky “E” pool and the Viking-Kinsella Wainwright “B” pool.

Production is 60 barrels of oil per day (30 net). Proved and probable reserves as of Dec. 31 were 109,000 barrels of oil and gas liquids and 27 million cubic feet of gas. Potential recoverable reserves are approximately 1 million barrels.

Upside includes additional potential to drill up to 17 development wells on the property and to optimize the operation by initiating a water injection scheme.
