Provident Energy Trust

Provident Energy Trust has retained Scotia Waterous to sell certain assets in the Lloydminster/Provost area of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The package includes a high working interest with operations in 50,178 gross acres (30,089 net). Production as of August was 2,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day (69% heavy oil, 28% medium oil, 3% gas) from the Mannville group of zones including General Petroleum, Sparky, Waseca, McLaren and Colony. Total proved reserves are 2.3 million barrels of oil equivalent (2 million proved producing, 4.3 million proved plus probable.
