Quatro Resources Inc. has retained Macquarie Tristone to seek proposals for a corporate sale.

Quatro's production is concentrated in the Greater Gilby and Red Earth areas of Alberta with a production base of liquids-rich gas and light oil on legacy assets. Current production is 3,850 barrels of oil equivalent per day (16 million cubic feet of gas, 450 barrels of oil, 740 barrels of gas liquids). Proved plus probable reserves are 20.2 million barrels equivalent (14.7 MMBOE proved; 5.5 MMBOE probable).

In first-quarter 2010, Quatro drilled four definition wells using horizontal, multistage frac technology in the Hoadley Glauconitic Barrier Bar complex with initial flow rates of 3- to 5 MMcf per day with liquids of 35 to 40 barrels per MMcf.

Additionally, Quatro owns and operates the Gilby 01-04-042-03W5 gas plant as well as an extensive gathering system in the heart of the Hoadley Glauconitic resource play.
