Samson Lone Star LLC has retained RBC Richardson Barr to sell all of its interests in producing properties and related assets in the Westside East Texas Salt Basin area in Freestone, Limestone, Leon, Anderson, Navarro and Henderson counties, Texas. The package involves 154 proved developed producing entities including units and overriding royalty interests, of which Samson operates 37 wells with an average 66.5% working interest (53.2% net revenue interest) representing more than 50% of the PDP value. The Westside East Texas Salt Basin area contains multiple stacked pay objectives. The leasehold position consists of approximately 74,000 net acres (12% held by production). Based on a reserves report as of Oct. 1, 2009, net total proved reserves are 69 billion cubic feet equivalent (15.4 billion net proved producing; 75.5 billion probable and possible). Estimated net production for October is 4.6 million cubic feet equivalent per day (93% gas). Projected net operating cash flow for October is $360,000. Upside includes 32 proved undeveloped and 38 probable and possible locations. In the Samson-operated Bear Grass Field/Rocky Point prospect area in Freestone County, 61 drilling locations have been quantified on 40-acre spacing, targeting the downhole commingled Cotton Valley sandstone and Travis Peak.
