Sanchez Oil & Gas Corp. has retained The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse to seek a joint-venture partner in a Haynesville shale drilling opportunity in a negotiated transaction.
The package includes a 21% to 25% nonoperated working interest in an 18 section area of mutual interest in Bienville and Natchitoches parishes, Louisiana. The partnership includes a 24% interest in Chesapeake #8, which tested at 11.5 million cubic feet per day. The second and third wells are currently drilling.
