Sharp Image Energy, Inc. (SIE) is interested in monetizing a 15.5% non-operated working interest portion of their operated leases in Kent Co., Texas.

These leases represent a Canyon Sand discovery by SIE that has resulted in the drilling of 21 producers and 2 WIWs making about 546 BOPD (Gross) and 63.5 BOPD (net). Water production is about 1,400 BWPD. Net income per month averages $134,013.

The Canyon sand 'B' occurs at about 6,000 feet and was initially drilled through, with shows, on the way down to a deeper objective. Subsequent development now covers the better part of two sections. The first water injector (for disposal; no make-up) began to affect five offsets for an increase in production from about 90 BOPD to about 140 BOPD and paves the way for future waterflood opportunities for even greater recoveries.
