Surge Energy Inc.

Surge Energy Inc. has retained Sayer Energy Advisors to sell certain interests in Alberta and British Columbia.

The package includes varying working interests in seven producing and eight nonproducing properties in the Pembina, Edson, Niton, Alexander, Cecilia, Christmas Creek, Kaybob, Abee, Wapiti, Grande Prairie, Enilda, Kakut and Nipsi areas of Alberta and in the Flat Rock and Ladyfern areas of northeastern British Columbia. Recent net production is approximately 145 BOE per day (683,000 cubic feet of gas; 31 barrels of oil and gas liquids).

At Pembina, the company holds varying high working interests in a large land position. In addition to various deeper rights, Surge also holds approximately 20 net sections of Cardium rights.

At Edson, Alexander, Cecilia and Kaybob, the company holds high working interests in significant land positions, as well as varying working interests in producing natural gas wells which are producing a net of 571 Mcf per day and 22 barrels of oil and gas liquids per day.

Surge holds varying working interests in non-producing lands in the Niton, Christmas Creek, Abee, Wapiti, Grande Prairie, Enilda and Kakut areas.

Surge holds a nonoperated minor working interest in four-sections of land at Flat Rock producing four to five barrels per day net. Surge also holds a minor interest in a significant land position at Ladyfern from which it is producing approximately 40 Mcf per day of gas and 0.5 barrels of gas liquids net.
