Talisman Energy Inc., Calgary, (NYSE: Toronto: TLM) has retained Scotia Waterous Inc. to sell interests in offshore Trinidad and Tobago. The package involves offshore working interests in Blocks 2c and 3a some 40 kilometers off the east coast in 30- to 70 meters of water. BHP Billiton is the operator of both assets. First quarter 2008 net oil production was 5,690 barrels per day from 17 producing wells. Net 2007 year-end proved plus probable reserves were 7.4 million barrels and 301 billion cubic feet. The assets include a 25% working interest in Block 2c of Greater Angostura with proved plus probable reserves of 267 billion cubic feet and 7.4 million barrels of oil. Block 2c is currently developing gas volumes that are targeted for first delivery in 2011. Block 3a involves a 25.5% working interest with proved plus probable reserves of 33.9 billion cubic feet.
