Trident Exploration Corp. has retained Scotia Waterous Inc. to sell all of its Montney assets in northeastern British Columbia.

The package includes 70% working interest in seven wells on 19 gross sections of contiguous land with deep rights in the Montney fairway in the Sunrise area. Gas is processed at the Spectra West Doe plant under a five-year contract for 17.5 million net cubic feet per day.

Net production is 1,900 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Proved reserves as of June 30 were 14.3 million barrels equivalent, proved and probable reserves of 27.5 million barrels equivalent and proved, probable and possible reserves of 35.5 million barrels equivalent.

Upside includes uphole Doig and Halfway potential and two wells currently being drilled with results expected in mid-November.
