Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc. has been retained to sell certain Eagle Ford shale assets in South Texas.
The package includes 95% working interest (78% net revenue interest) in approximately 52,975 gross acres (50,383 net) in the Eagle Ford oil and wet gas (condensate) windows, primarily in Fayette and Lavaca counties. The majority of the acreage expires from 2015 to 2016. The acreage is mostly contiguous.
Offsetting the seller's acreage, recent completions have been announced with initial production rates as high as 1,242 barrels and 480,000 cubic feet per day in the oil window, and as high as 3 million cubic feet per day and 120 barrels per day in the wet gas (condensate) window while still flowing back 1,000 barrels of frac water per day.
Upside includes an inventory of more than 300 potential horizontal drilling locations.
