Western Gas Resources Inc.

Western Gas Resources Inc. has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell its Niobrara play in eastern Colorado and western Nebraska. The package includes a 100% working interest in 70% of the assets and a 75% working interest in the remainder of the assets, including 171,700 gross acres (152,400 net) in Colorado and 213,600 gross acres (177,600 net) in Nebraska. To date, 12 wells have been drilled with nine producing 500,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The package also includes 86 square miles of 3-D seismic data.
