WestFire Energy Ltd. has retained CB Securities Inc. to sell certain properties in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The Willesden Green package in Alberta includes a 29% working interest in 31 sections in the Willesden Green, Medicine River and Ferrier properties with Cardium oil horizontal development and Glauconitic gas horizontal development. Net production is 29 barrels of oil and 29,000 cubic feet of gas.

The Lake Alma package includes an 84% working interest in Lake Alma, Bienfait, and Midale properties prospective for Bakken, Red River and Midale horizontal oil development. Production is 48 barrels of net Bakken and Midale oil production per day.

The Driver/Kerrobert package includes a 55% working interest in the Driver, Kerrobert and Prairiedale properties with Bakken upside. Production is 104 barrels of oil and 125,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

The Loverna package features a 65% working interest in the Loverna, Luseland, Major, Milton, Alsask and Cactus Lake properties offset by Bakken, Mannville, and Viking production. Production is 374,000 cubic feet per day.

Total proved reserves are 279,000 barrels of oil equivalent (582,000 barrels proved plus probable).
