Whiting Oil and Gas Corp.

Whiting Oil and Gas Corp. has retained Kobayashi Partners Ltd. to sell certain assets in the Cessford area of Alberta. The package includes a 50% working interest in a portion of the Cessford Mannville 'C' oil pool that consists of three sandstones with uncompleted wells. Whiting's share of production averaged 228 barrels of oil equivalent per day with total proved reserves 878,000 barrels of oil equivalent and provedplus- probable reserves of 1.2 million barrels of oil equivalent.
