Williams Production RMT Co. has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell its Hubbard Mesa prospect in the Piceance Basin, Garfield County, Colorado. The property has a total reserve potential of 276 billion cubic feet of gas. The majority of the acreage is 100% working interest and 85% to 87.5% net revenue interest. The primary target is the Williams Fork formation, with additional targets in the Cretaceous Mesaverde group. Three wells have been drilled in the Williams Fork; two are in production and one is near completion. The property is on a consolidated acreage block with 35 leases. Thirteen wells must be drilled this year to retain all acreage. Williams retains the right to have gas delivered into its gathering and processing system.
