Houston-based Chevron completed a Louisiana State waters well in Bay Marchand Block 3 Field, off Lafourche Parish. The #1 State Lease 01367 II flowed 390 bbl. of 18.9-degree-gravity crude with 207,000 cu. ft. of gas and 29 bbl. of water per day. Production is from Miocene perforations at 4,620-4,710 ft. The well was drilled to 5,200 ft. from a site in the northern portion of irregular Bay Marchand Block 3.
