Drilling Activity Summary
Description
A Devon Energy Corp. well in the Anadarko Basin initially flowed 11 million cu. ft. of gas, with 105 bbl. of 54-degree-gravity condensate and 4,515 bbl. of water. The #6H Johnson 27 SL is in Section 27, Block M-1, H&GN Survey, A-138 in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. Production is from perforated and fracture-stimulated zone at 12,200-16,551 ft. in a lateral drilled north across the section in Des Moines granite wash B. Gauged on a 64/64-in. choke, the shut-in tubing pressure was 1,575 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 440 psi. The venture was drilled to 16,658 ft. and the true vertical depth is 11,690 ft. Devon is based in Oklahoma City.
