Drilling Activity Summary
Description
A Devon Energy Co. development test initially flowed 24.8 million cu. ft. per day with 618 bbl. of 55-degree-gravity condensate and 940 bbl. of water. The #4H Brown 8 is in Section 2, Camp CSL Survey, A-26, in Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The well is producing from a fracture-stimulated Des Moines Granite Wash interval at 11,755-15,823 ft. Tested on a 28/64-in. choke, the shut-in tubing pressure was 2,325 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,129 psi. The respective measured and true vertical depths are 15,900 ft. and 11,589 ft. Devon is based in Oklahoma City.
