Description
Devon Energy Corp. has completed an extended-reach western Anadarko Basin horizontal well in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #2H Mathers Ranch 164-159 (AW) is in Section 164, Block 1, H&TC Survey, A-1021. It initially flowed 14.4 MMcf of gas, 1.124 Mbbl of 54-degree-gravity condensate and 2.305 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from Des Moines Granite Wash perforations at 10,467-20,796 ft and the well was tested after a 29-stage fracturing. The flowing tubing pressure was 2,620 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 3,200 psi when tested on a 64/64-in. choke. Located in Hemphill Dist. 10 Field, the 20,932-ft producer has a true vertical depth of 10,647 ft and bottomed in Section 159, Block 1, H&TC Survey, A-237.
