Drilling Activity Summary

Description

According to IHS Inc. Forest Oil Corp. completed two horizontal Des Moines Granite Wash wells in the western Anadarko Basin. The #5011H Zybach is in Section 2, Camp CSL Survey, A-26, in Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, and flowed 18.7 million cu. ft. of gas, 186 bbl. of 55-gravity condensate and 476 bbl. of water per day. The initial tests were performed on a north lateral at 11,980-16,307 ft. following acid treatment and an 12-stage fracturing. The shut-in tubing pressure was 1,508 psi and flowing tubing pressure was 375 psi on an unreported choke size. The Denver-based company's producer was drilled to 16,323 ft. and the true vertical depth was 11,622 ft. To the east in Section 2, #4011H Zybach flowed gas at an initial rate of 10.8 million cu. ft. per day, with 237 bbl. of 57-gravity condensate and 1,080 bbl. of water per day. The venture was perforated, acidized and fractured in 10 stages at 12,215-16,556 ft. in a parallel north horizontal leg drilled to 16,569 ft., 11,698 ft. true vertical. Respective shut-in and flowing and tubing pressures were gauged at 2,415 psi and 591 psi.
