Description
A Niobrara discovery by Devon Energy Corp. in the Powder River initially flowed 1.423 Mbbl of oil, 1.073 MMcf of gas and 1.11 Mbbl of water per day. The #18-193771-5XNH SDU Tillard-Federal is in Section 18-37n-71w, Converse County, Wyo. The Scott Field well is producing from a Niobrara lateral drilled to the south to 20,672 ft, 11,191 ft true vertical, at a bottomhole location in Section 19-37n-71w. It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke following 30-stage fracturing between 11,285 and 20,504 ft, and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,850 psi. Devon’s headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
