Paris-based Total SA announced results from discovery at #30/12d-11 Isabella in offshore U.K. license P1820. The well was drilled in a water depth of about 80 m. It encountered 64 m net pay of lean gas and condensate and high-quality light oil in Upper Jurassic and Triassic sandstone reservoirs. Additional testing and data analysis are planned to assess the resources and to determine the appraisal program required to confirm commerciality. The P1820 license is operated by Total with a 30% working interest, and Neptune Energy (50%), Ithaca Energy (10%) and Euroil Exploration (10%).
