Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Devon Energy Corp. completed two new field Bone Spring producers in New Mexico’s Lea County. The horizontal wells were drilled from a pad in Section 29-23s-35e. The #001H Red Bull 29-20 Federal was drilled to 22,160 ft (11,561 ft true vertical). It initially flowed 1,235 bbl of oil and 1.347 Mcf of gas and 1,590 bbl of water per day from perforations at 11,867-22,040 ft. Tested on an unreported choke size, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,434 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 1,005 psi. The offsetting #002H Red Bull 29-20 Federal was drilled to 22,020 ft 11,613 ft true vertical. It produced 1,442 bbl of oil, 1.512 MMcf of gas and 1,802 bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 11,961-21,906 ft with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,394 psi and a shut-in casing pressure of 958 psi.
