Description
Two more horizontal Lance producers on the Pinedale Anticline were completed by Ultra Petroleum Corp. in Sublette County, Wyo. The #8-25-A-1H Warbonnet is in Section 25-30n-108w and was tested flowing 28.5 MMboe per day (9% oil), which includes an initial oil rate of 441 bbl per day. Production is from a 9,900-ft lateral with 5,346 ft of net sand. According to the Houston-based company, it was tested after 35-stage fracturing and the proposed bottomhole location is in Section 29-30n-107w. About 1.5 miles to the north is #9-23-A-3H Warbonnet in Section 23-30n-108. Production from a 10,900-ft lateral was 11.7 MMcfe per day (7% oil), including 146 bbl of oil per day. The well’s lateral has 5,123 ft of net sand and was tested following 33-stage fracture stimulation. The proposed bottomhole location is Section 20-30n-107w.
