COG Operating Inc. completed a wildcat Third Bone Spring Sand venture in New Mexico’s Lea County. Located in Section 31-24s-35e, the #705H Stove Pipe Federal Com initially flowed 431 bbl of oil and 879,000 cu ft of gas daily. The well was drilled to a total depth of 23,347 ft and the true vertical depth is 12,495 ft. Production is from a perforated zone at 12,740-22,990 ft. It was tested on a 20/64-inch with a flowing tubing pressure of 3,700 psi and a flowing casing of 3,500 psi. COG Operating is an affiliate of ConocoPhillips.
