Description
In Culberson County, (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Houston–based Chevron Corp. completed a Ford West Field well. The #0031WA Hay Aria 03/46 initially flowed 1,314 bbl of 45.5° API oil, with 4.26 MMcf of gas and 5,188 bbl of water per day from Wolfcamp A. The venture was drilled to 19,788 ft 9,450 ft true vertical in Section 3, Block 58, Township 2s. It was tested on a 128/64-inch choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 763 psi and a shut-in casing pressure was 871 psi. Production is from perforations at 9,697-19,577 ft.
