Chevron Corp. completed a Wolfcamp discovery in Spraberry Field in Martin County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #0062WA VLT Sauer Stutzen Unit was drilled to a total depth of 19,465 ft and a true vertical depth of 8,678 ft in Section 43 Block 35, T&P RR CO Survey, A-62. It was tested flowing 1,930 bbl of 40.5° API oil, with 1.108 MMcf of gas per day.. Gauged on a 53/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 375 psi and production is from perforations at 9,040-19,304 ft. Chevron’s headquarters are in Houston.
